The All-on-4® treatment concept offers a comprehensive solution for patients needing a full-arch denture. This technique involves placing four dental implants, with two at the front of the mouth and two towards the back, angled slightly. The angled placement of the posterior implants allows for optimal contact with the available jawbone, providing a stable foundation for the denture.

While the standard All-on-4® procedure typically uses four implants, Dr. Vidal and her team may recommend a different number based on the patient's specific needs. Some patients may require between four and six implants, depending on the quality and density of their jawbone. This individualized approach ensures that the implants have adequate support and minimizes the risk of implant failure.

For patients with lower jawbone quality, utilizing additional implants, as in the All-on-6® procedure, may be necessary. The extra implants provide enhanced stability, increasing the likelihood of a successful outcome.
